According to Captain Diego Araneda Cabrera, a patrol officer for the Santiago Norte Prefecture, the 16-year-old was finally arrested for the crime of less serious injuries against both workers.

However, SAR officials in Colina indicated that the detainee’s brothers did go to “rescue” him at the compound, without giving further details within 24 hours.
Regarding a possible robbery that has triggered the actions of the guards, Araneda indicated that this fact remains under investigation, without clarifying the motive for the adolescent’s attack against the workers of the compound.
