The actress Maria Jose Prieto (44) tested positive for covid-19, after her husband, the actor Cristian Campos (64), was also notified as a confirmed case.
It was on March 1 that the actor underwent a routine test as part of his work on Hidden Truths (Mega), and got the result. Prieto was infected after a few days, so they are both confined to their home.
In conversation with the newspaper Las Últimas Noticias, the actress commented that Cristián had “Headaches, fever and general malaise” during the first days. Although the good thing, he said, is that he does not have any underlying disease.
“On my side, I was with a lot sore throat, body ache, and low-grade fever. At first I didn’t feel like doing anything, but on the fourth, fifth day we started with activities ”, he said.
In the house they share spaces with their daughter, so they use masks to prevent her from getting infected.
Campos’ contagion came a day after he was vaccinated against covid-19 with Sinovac, the substance supplied in two doses that has been widely distributed in the country.
“Cristián has not had respiratory difficulties, and I think the dose of the vaccine also has its merit,” speculated Prieto.
“It is something that is going to touch us all and you have to try to be in good spirits and, of course, get vaccinated as soon as possible“, Hill.
The actor Thomas Vidiella (83) was notified as one of Campos’ close contacts for his participation in the play “Orquesta de Señoritas” by Teatro Oriente.
Later it was confirmed that the interpreter was infected and, this morning, information published by El Mercurio indicates that Vidiella is hospitalized in a capital health center, without major medical complications.
The recordings of Hidden Truths, meanwhile, were temporarily suspended.
