Actress Claudia Burr is arrested at a clandestine party in Recoleta

A new clandestine party was registered at dawn this Monday in the commune of Recoleta, violating the sanitary measures product of the coronavirus pandemic.

The party was held in the Bellavista neighborhood, in an area that functioned as a boutique hotel. Police personnel arrived at that place, alerted by residents of the place.

68 people were arrested at the clandestine party. Among those arrested is the actress Claudia burr (52), known for her performances in soap operas such as Sucupira, Aquelarre, Iorana, Oro Verde, among others. The actress was waiting for a summons from the prosecution.

Carabineros found that in the closed space, there were security guards and an entrance fee of 15 thousand pesos was charged. In addition, it did not have a patent for the sale of alcohol.

Previously, it was reported that the apprehended were 47 men and 21 women, all adults.

Also, the organizer of the party, identified as Pablo Cordero, will go to control of detention for a crime against public health. An investigation for the same crime was launched for the rest of the detainees, but they were awaiting summons.

According to data from the Public Ministry, so far as the pandemic goes, more than 3,800 people have been formalized. Likewise, 23,000 have been fined. Around 4 thousand had a simplified procedure.

In the early hours of Saturday another illegal party had been registered in that commune, on Patronato street, which ended with 11 detainees.

On the other hand, in Renca, a similar event was registered early this Monday. Carabineros personnel detained 8 women and 3 men, all adults, because they were participating in a clandestine party in a warehouse violating the curfew.
