A group of about 300 people went to the 20th Puente Alto Police Station, trying to attack the building by throwing blunt and incendiary objects such as Molotov cocktails.
According to the Carabineros, around 6:10 p.m. this Sunday the crowd reached the front of the police station, from where the attacks on the barracks began, as recorded by a series of videos.
Due to the violence of the attack, PDI personnel had to reinforce the Carabineros using anti-riot weapons.
“A group of individuals generate violent disorders outside the 20th Police Station, throwing blunt objects at the unit, putting the safety of both the community and the staff at risk. We recommend not passing through this point of the commune ”, denounced Carabineros on Twitter.
From Metro they reported that Line 4 is available only to exit, and not to access the station.
