The Public ministry continues to investigate the complaint for the alleged kidnapping of a young woman and her two daughters, by her ex-partner in the Paillaco commune, despite the fact that the woman declared in Carabineros that she had gotten into the vehicle of her own free will.

Let us remember that the complaint was made by the mother of the young Obstetrics student, Barbara Correa, allegedly kidnapped by her ex-partner.

The woman indicated that when her daughter returned from the dentist, she and her husband decided to go to the bank and when they returned to the truck, Barbara and her granddaughters were gone.

The grandmother of the little girls assured that when she started looking for them, the driver of a truck that was nearby told them that all 3 were forcibly loaded into a blue Mazda van with tinted windows, led by a tall, dark man, who would have corresponded to the characteristics of Barbara’s ex-boyfriend.

However the young woman appeared last night in the San José de la Mariquina Police Station, declaring that everything had happened under his will.

Before going to the police station, the university posted a video on his Facebook account assuring that he left of his own free will.

“I come to clarify that at no time have they kidnapped me, I left on my own. We are fine with my girls here and that, please do not continue to viralize because I am going to go to the nearest police station to declare that they have not kidnapped me, I left on my own, thank you, “says the young woman.

However, this day the spokesperson for the Regional Prosecutor’s Office of Los RíosEric Aguayo pointed out that the complaint will continue to be investigated “in order to determine precisely the circumstances of this event and the configuration or not of an offense. Said proceedings are in force and are still ongoing ”

In addition, it was reported that if it is possible to prove that there was kidnapping or contempt, since a restraining order weighed on the man, his arrest could be requested.
