One person died on the morning of this Friday, January 1, after facing a duel with knives with the owner of an address in Santiago.
The death occurred at around 10:30 a.m., after the victim arrived to look for the owner of the house, located in Sazié with Abdón Cifuentes, shouting from the street and throwing stones.
The owner came out and they faced each other in the middle of the public road with knives.
Thus, whoever arrived at the property ended up stabbed and died on the spot, due to a wound in the thorax.
Calle Sazié was cordoned off by Carabineros personnel, who arrested the owner of the house. According to information from the uniformed police, the latter – 36 years old, with a criminal record – turned himself in and acknowledged being the material author of the crime.
The Public Ministry commissioned the investigation to the Homicide Brigade of the PDI.
