Emergency personnel worked on a traffic accident that occurred in the Nueva Braunau locality, from the commune of Puerto Varas in the Los Lagos region.
The incident occurred specifically on Route V-500, at kilometer 18 with the Balmaceda crossing. At the scene, the collision between two vehicles left five people injured and a fatal victim.
According to information from SAMU, this is a man who would have lost his life due to the severity of his injuries.
Of the wounded, two suffered minor injuries and three of moderate severity, the five were transferred to the Base Hospital to receive the pertinent attention.
The SIAT de Carabineros addressed the sector to carry out the corresponding proceedings.
