A serious car accident occurred during the afternoon of this Friday in the commune of Lanco, leaving as a balance a deceased person.
The SIAT of Carabineros Valdivia investigates the overturning of a vehicle that occurred at 19:45 hours yesterday at kilometer 6 of Route T-125, Puquiñe sector.
Four occupants were traveling in the vehicle, including a 19-year-old girl – who lives in the Huillomallín sector, near Malalhue – who died in the same place as a result of the injuries.
The other occupants, meanwhile, were injured and were treated at the Emergency Unit of the Lanco Hospital.
Neighbors from the sector provided the first aid to the victims, and later emergency personnel from the Fire Department, SAMU and police from the Lanco Sub-Police Station were present, who adopted the procedure of rigor.
The driver of the car was taken to the Lanco hospital, where he was diagnosed with minor injuries and was also found to be driving drunk, after dropping 1.56 grams of alcohol.
The deputy commissioner of Lanco Services, Lieutenant Felipe Lorca, gave further details of the event.
The driver will spend this day in detention control for near misses of injuries resulting in death in a traffic accident.
Scenes of deep pain were experienced in the place when relatives of the victim arrived; while waiting for the prosecutor on duty for the respective expertise and the removal of the body.
