The Bío Bío region reached 696 positive cases of coronavirus, after that in the last 24 hours 13 new infections were confirmed.
Of that number, the authorities indicated in the balance that there are 464 patients recovered. In turn, the province with the most cases is Concepción with 602 infections, followed by Bío Bío with 80 and Arauco with 12.
Broken down into communes, the city of Concepción leads with 134 infected, in second place is Hualpén with 110 and then San Pedro de la Paz with 102.
Regarding hospitalizations, the Bío Bío Health seremi, Héctor Muñoz, explained that 22 patients are in healthcare facilities, of which 4 remain serious.
He also stated that there are 10 other people hospitalized in the area, but that these are residents of the La Araucanía region.
