Leading anime video game publisher and developer Bandai Namco has finally released the long-awaited title “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 – Road to Boruto” for the Nintendo Switch. The game offers Naruto Shippuden fans the opportunity to experience the Fourth Great Ninja War and see the anime’s epic conclusion.
Developed by CyberConnect2, the video game brings together over 100 characters from the anime Naruto Shippuden, as well as the continuation of the series through Boruto. Let’s remember that Boruto tells the story of Naruto’s son, when the main character of the saga has finally fulfilled his dream of being the Hokage of the Konoha (the Village hidden among the Leaves).
Game mode
In the video game you can choose a team of three characters and fight in fast and energetic 3D battles. Easy-to-learn controls mean players can live out their fantasy of becoming their favorite characters and unleashing powerful Jutsu attacks. Players can play against friends both locally and online.
“We are very excited to bring the fourth” Ultimate Ninja Storm “game to the Nintendo Switch and have Nintendo fans experience the entire Naruto and Naruto Shippuden series with the four titles already available on the Nintendo Switch system,” said Wilson Cheng, director of brand marketing and Esports for Bandai Namco. “Fans can live their ninja dreams anywhere, anytime,” he added.
Characters and other consoles
With this new release, “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 – Road to Boruto” becomes available for all consoles and PCs: PS4 and Xbox One as well. In the case of the Nintendo Switch version, the game comes with two new characters: Momoshiki and Kinshiki. Players who previously purchased the game will have instant access to both characters without having to unlock them throughout the game.
Momoshiki and Kinshiki will also be available as paid DLC for all other versions on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC computer entertainment system via STEAM. The game has an ESRB rating of “T” for teens.
