The morning of this Friday a health protocol at Santiago airport, after four passengers tested positive for coronavirus in rapid tests applied at the air terminal.
The situation occurs in the midst of an extraordinary control carried out by personnel from the Municipality and Hospital of Easter Island, this to check the occupants of two special flights of Latam that will take Rapa Nui to islanders and their families who were stranded for more than a month on the mainland.

The test, which is applied in an extraordinary way in that place after an agreement between the Metropolitan Health Seremis and Valparaíso, allowed to detect four people who tested positive in quick test.
As confirmed by Major Miguel Pizarro, it is three women and a man, all adults. Two of the individuals were sent to Hospital of the Chilean Air Force (FACh) and two others at San Juan de Dios Hospital, where it is expected to confirm the diagnosis with PCR test.
Meanwhile, seven people who had direct contact with the four passengers were sent to homes to carry out preventive quarantine awaiting confirmation of the diagnosis.
The rest of the 150 passengers they traveled to Rapa Nui in the morning.
It is worth mentioning that the special control for those who travel to Rapa Nui in the check in sector works in parallel to the review carried out by the Ministry of Health in the boarding and arrival area.
