A man and a woman remained in preventive detention investigated for the crime of robbery with homicide, which cost the life of a 73-year-old woman, in the rural sector of Loncoche, La Araucanía Region.

Through the videoconference system, they were presented to the Loncoche Guarantee Court, Rigoberto Gajardo Muñoz and his partner, María Caamano Mora, detained by personnel from the PDI Homicide Brigade, in the proceedings derived from the murder of 73-year-old Gabriela Aburto Millacura, which occurred at her home in the Niguén place in the Juan Aburto Iñilef community, this Tuesday, April 20.

The chief prosecutor of the Public Ministry in Loncoche, Ghislaime Durán, specified that the judge on duty, in light of the background gathered in the case, authorized to apply to both defendants the precautionary measure of preventive detention

“The accused María Caamano Mora and Rigoberto Gajardo Muñoz were asked for the precautionary measure of preventive detention, which was granted,” said the prosecutor.
