The mayor of The CountsJoaquín Lavín announced that next week will open a mall in the commune with various sanitary measures.
As the communal chief commented in a public activity, he pointed out that for the moment the decision continues to be to keep the shopping centers closed to avoid increasing contagions from coronavirus.
“Malls are like a cityThey have many entrances, a lot of diversity of stores. We don’t want what happened in Quilpué to happen to us, which opened and then had to be closed, ”he said.
Therefore, he announced that next week there will be a Pilot experience in a mall that he kept in reserve, with various measures.
“What we are going to do as a commune is a controlled pilot experience with a mall next week, to see exactly how it works, what needs to be done, what are the corresponding measures and do everything in agreement, not only with them, but that also with sanitary standards and with the people ”, he assured.
Lavín added that the place will have a sanitary cord to take temperature and check symptoms, in addition to restricting the number of accesses, sanitation protocols in stores where customers take objects and availability of alcohol gel.
In Las Condes there are several malls, such as Alto Las Condes, Parque Arauco, Mallplaza Los Dominicos and Apumanque.
