After 34 years, Real Sociedad was once again able to shout “champion” in Spain. This Saturday the txuri-urdines team prevailed against Athletic Club and was crowned the new king of the Copa del Rey.
In a difficult match, they managed to hurt at the right moment and take the victory by the minimum account, thus achieving a championship after more than three decades. The achievement filled with joy not only current players, but also former players, such as Claudio Bravo.

“Congratulations!“was the phrase used by the Betis goalkeeper to celebrate his former club, in perfect Basque language, representative of that area of Spain. A sign that, for him, passing through the institution was more than just wearing the shirt.
Now Real Sociedad is fully focused on the fight for a place in international tournaments, where it also competes with Betis de Bravo.
