A serious accident occurred this Saturday afternoon in the middle of Matta Avenue. A driver died after crashing into four elements at full speed: a tree, a tap, a pole and a restaurant.
According to preliminary information, the driver of the vehicle had been driving with higher speed than allowed.
The driver was transferred to the Central Post Office, but due to the magnitude of the accident, the medical staff could not save his life.

“As a specialized unit, we regret all this type of event and we call on the public to respect traffic rules, to drive at a reasonable and prudent speed and respect the maximum speed in urban areas in order to maintain a good road coexistence ”, indicated from the Police Traffic Accident Investigation Section (SIAT).
According to witnesses, there is a gap in the pavement, better known as a pothole, which was the trigger for the loss of vehicle control.
