Deputy José Miguel Ortiz hospitalized for covid-19: he would be stable | National

During the night of this Saturday it was announced that the deputy of the Christian Democracy, José Miguel Ortiz, is hospitalized by COVID-19.

According to information provided to Radio, Ortiz presents the diagnosis of pneumonia caused by covid.

Let us remember that last Thursday, April 1, it was announced that the 79-year-old deputy was in a sanitary residence due to the symptoms that afflicted him.

However, today these would have intensified with fever for which he was transferred to the health facility where he is hospitalized.

The head of the DC bench, Daniel Verdessi explained that the deputy was hospitalized around 2:00 p.m. today in the Bío Bío Clinic, and also wished him a speedy recovery.

It should be noted that José Miguel Ortiz has already received both vaccines against coronavirus, so he said he was calm and confident.

Finally, Ortiz’s son, Álvaro Ortiz, confirmed through his social networks that his father has not needed oxygen, nor has mechanical ventilation, and that for now is in observations.
