After an inspection carried out in the health control of the N-59 route, Carabineros del Retén of the San Ignacio commune detained a 59-year-old woman and her grandson, who were surprised hidden in the luggage rack of a vehicle, seeking to evade quarantine control in the commune.
Police personnel became aware of the fact by making a visual inspection of the vehicle at the time of the control, a car that was driven by a woman, who came from the commune of El Carmen.
“The driver of the vehicle carried her travel permit, but the grandmother and grandson, in addition to being in hiding, did not carry their documentation to circulate in quarantine, so they were detained at the place,” explained the Deputy Commissioner of Bulnes, base unit from San Ignacio, Captain Luciano Lagos.
In the procedure, Carabineros established that the vehicle did not have current documentation, for which it was also withdrawn from circulation.
The detainees were placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry and the fact reported to the Family Court for violation of the minor.
