The Minister of Health, Enrique Paris, announced this Tuesday that tomorrow Wednesday there will be more announcements of restrictions on permits to leave in the communes that are in quarantine, in addition to reviewing the situation of the borders.
During the joint session of the Interior and Constitution commissions, where they debated the project to postpone the elections, Paris explained that together with the importation of vaccines, they will take more drastic measures in the face of the pandemic.
“Tomorrow we are going to place more restrictions on permits, as I announced in the session, and a review of the issue of borders”Paris explained.
During the afternoon, the minister indicated that “the forties (must) be done with greater control. I think permissions have to be drastically reducedto. Collective permits because they are being misused. And obviously ask the entire community to help us ”.
Along the same lines, Paris also announced that for the eventual new date of the elections – May 15 and 16 – in Chile more than 8.7 million people will have been vaccinated with at least the first dose and 7.9 million with the two doses of some vaccine.
“We have calculated that we will have for May 15 and 16, 8 million 700 thousand people with one dose and between 7 and a half million and 7 million 900 people with two doses ”, expressed before the deputies.
Although last weekend it was decided to suspend the individual two-hour permit to go out in the quarantined communes, for now, the Government has ruled out implementing that measure for Easter.
