On Wednesday night, a PDI detective repelled a mega lock that was registered in the commune of Pudahuel.

According to information provided by Commissioner Juan Delgado, two private vans were moving along a road in the commune when they were intercepted by at least five cars.

From them they would have gotten off about 20 criminals, all armed and wearing bulletproof vests.

At that moment, an official of the civil police noticed the fact, got out of his vehicle and appeared before the assailants.

According to the official report, the group attacked him with shots. There, the man drew his service weapon and managed to get the antisocials to flee the place.

“When I saw the gentleman from the PDI repel I was looking in the rear-view mirror at funky dudes getting in their cars… How they couldn’t commit the crime they wanted. We did not get to have contact, only the bullets more than anything, “said one of those affected.

However, they escaped in three cars. After analyzing the two left at the scene, the police discovered that the clan wore more bulletproof vests, miguelitos, communication hardware and other elements to commit crimes.

None of the cars that were left in the place have commission for theft. In addition, the PDI gave notice to the assistance centers to report the entry of a gunshot wounded, which until the closing of this edition has not yielded results.

All in all, the emergency was overcome without injuries. The fact has already begun to be investigated.
