It is a case that shook Iran and the rest of the world. And is that one mountaineering couple in Khorasan Razavi province, Iran, were approached by four individuals that they committed a terrible deed against him.
The individuals attacked the man first. They wounded him with a knife and tied his hands and feet. All this for later sexually abusing his wife right in front of him, forcing him to watch the reprehensible act.
Faced with extensive research, antisocials were caught by the police last Monday, being identified as Ruhollah Javidi Rad, Mohammad Sayadi Baghansgani, Mohammad Hosseini and Mohammad Watandoost.

The four involved, named as “Fariman’s hyenas”, were accused of kidnapping and rape against women, and failure to assist and threats of violence against man.
In accordance with Daily mail, all of them had previous antecedents.
Later, and during the judicial process, the Khorasan Razavi Criminal Court sent the case to the Supreme Court. In that instance the highest penalty in the country was ruled against the defendants.
In that way, the individuals were sentenced to be hanged in Mashhad Central Prison.

It should be noted that despite the fact that in 2019 more than 250 executions were registered in that country, it is a unusual sentence, since the laws are structured against victims of sexual assault, who in most cases must face charges of adultery, indecency, or immoral conduct.
And typically, accused rapists are only convicted if they have four or more male witness testimonies against them.
Therefore, the threat of accusing a crime of this magnitude leads many women to decide not to report this type of case to avoid themselves facing justice against them.
