The position of center forward in Colo Colo has become an issue in this transfer market, especially considering that what is in the Monumental does not guarantee garments for a new football year.
With the departure of Esteban Paredes there are only Iván Morales, Javier Parraguez and Nicolás Blandi to be the 9th of the team. Between the three added just five goals in the 2020 season, so for Gustavo Quinteros it is necessary to reinforce that area with a new player.
In this way the list of candidates has been shrinking with the passing of the days, being reduced to only four options with more or less strength to be the brand new center-forward of the Cacique.
For now, the most tempting option is that of Favio Cabral from Talleres de Córdoba, who recognized rapprochements with Colo Colo, including a talk with his former partner Pablo Solari. Quinteros himself stated that it is on his list and that he likes it very much.
The great advantage of Cabral is that he would not occupy a foreign quota due to his age, since it would arrive using the same mechanism of the mentioned Solari, who only uses that quota when he is summoned for the parties.
In this way, the foreign quota that remains in Colo Colo could be used in a new central defender, where Santiago García appeared as an option after a good campaign in Unión La Calera.

Further down we find Octavio Rivero, Cecilio Waterman and Facundo Batista. However, these options have been losing strength as the days go by, especially for Rivero, with whom there has been no contact for several weeks after rejecting the Cacique’s first offer due to personal issues.
Another name that came up was Diego Churín, Argentine attacker who currently plays in Gremio de Brasil. Nevertheless, the former Spanish Union has no intention of returning to Chilean football and would remain in the Porto Alegre team.
In this way, the search for a center forward continues in the corridors of the Monumental Stadium. Who will be the new player to join Juan Carlos Gaete, Felipe Fritz, Martín Rodríguez and Miiko Albornoz?
