Tonight the last episode of the program was broadcast “All to Viña”, a special space for the “widowers” of the vine Festival, after it was suspended for the first time in its history due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The space -driven by Sergio Lagos, Tonka Tomicic and Martín Cárcamo– relives stories of the contest and on the occasion had the singers as guests Ana Torroja and Luciano Pereyra, from Mexico and Argentina, respectively.
Both artists reviewed their link with the Viñamarino contest, just as the Chileans did in the studio installed in the middle of Quinta Vergara Luis Jara and Coco Legrand.
The first confessed several things, among them, the complex bond he had for many years with the Viña Festival and revealed the reasons that led him to refuse to succeed Antonio Vodanovic in the animation of the event in 2005.
“They offer me to animate the festival in 2005… and my pissed off, I’m going to say it quite vulgarly. At first I accepted it, but later it seemed very dramatic to replace Antonio “Jara pointed out.
“I didn’t feel qualified to be a replacement for Antonio… it didn’t seem logical to me. I think that Antonio put a too strong mark and felt that he did not have to do it. I wasn’t going to carry that responsibility, I didn’t need it “he added.
The singer and entertainer also confided that he was not sorry for this decision and that if he returned to Quinta Vergara, “I would like the music to bring me back.”
On the other hand, regarding his eight presentations on the Quinta Vergara stage (as a singer) he said that he was never satisfied with them. “I never managed to be who I wanted to be (…) I was only looking for approval”He said and when asked if this happened to him in a specific show, Jara replied that in all of them.
“I have affection for all those passes through Viña (…) I respect my effort, but perhaps it is not the best version of me,” he confided.
According to Mauricio Correa, executive producer of the Channel 13 program, what Lucho Jara said in space, he had never told before on television.
The stellar festival of Channel 13 had Mauricio Correa in the executive production, Felipe Morales in the general direction, Álvaro Vásquez in the general production and Carolina Silva in the journalistic edition.
