This Monday, March 1, the program “De tú a tú” will premiere on the screens of Channel 13. It is a conversation space conducted by Martin Cárcamo and that has as guests national and international personalities.
The first guest of the space will be the actress and entertainer Kathy Salosny, who currently lives in Tunquén on the coast of the Valparaíso Region. Cárcamo traveled to that town, where he spoke with the presenter at home.
On the occasion, Salosny referred to details of his life, his history, how he lives the Covid-19 pandemic, his loves and romances, his television career, his relationship with his mother, domestic violence, and how he has overcome the sexual abuse he suffered as a teenager.
“I’ve known Kathy for many, many years. I have had to work with her many times. He knows my life, and I know hers. But it is different to have a televised conversation and she was very generous in showing her privacy, showing a place that is fundamental for her, such as her home in Tunquén. She is a woman who is determined, but who has suffered a lot and has a life that is very impressive in terms of experiences she has had, very difficult issues that she has been able to resolve in order to be the woman she is today, “said Martín Cárcamo to respect.
“I think it will identify a lot of people. And what I liked the most is that it was a super genuine conversation, where we talked about topics that are very relevant to society and that she has had to live. But there were also very funny moments because this is a mix, and that is what the program is looking for. It is a carousel of emotions, “he added.
In the promo of the first chapter, it is seen that Kathy Salosny talks about her encounters with world-class artists such as Ricky Martin and Luis Miguel, but also expands on more intimate details of her life.
For example, she explains that the first 10 years of her life were happy and her father was an “idol for her”, but then he became a monster, alluding to the sexual abuse he subjected her to during her adolescence.
Let’s remember that a few years ago, Kathy Salosny revealed that she and her sister María Soledad were abused by their father when they were minors. “I simply did not have a father. I have no link and I am not interested. He is a character who did too much damage. For me there are things that are unforgivable, “he told La Cuarta newspaper in 2005.
Then, in 2016 in an interview in Caras magazine, he pointed out that he wanted to be part of the Trust Foundation to help others who went through similar situations. “Helping from experience, heals me and does good; it is a way of returning the hand, since for me they are issues that I worked on and they are resolved, although the wounds will always be… There are still many taboos that must be discussed in order to eradicate them, ”he said at the time.
The program “De tú a tú” is an original format and is being carried out under strict health protocols, they assure from Channel 13.
