“We received the details of the bank movements and we were able to realize that on the date of the weekend of February 13 and 14, when, according to the date of death, the person was already deceased, four money orders had been made at ATMs, purchases in commercial stores -Fashion’s Park and Puma- and also money transfers at Cajas Vecinas; in fact, the balance of the victim’s Rut Account had been completely emptied, where he had around 1 million pesos. At the formalization hearing, the Judge Vania Boutaud ordered the admission of Cid and Ortega to the Santiago Uno Preventive Detention Center and the San Miguel Women’s Penitentiary Center, respectively, considering that the freedom of the accused constitutes a safety hazard society and for the success of the investigation.
