A man died yesterday Saturday in the commune of Hill, in the Metropolitan Region, after accidentally injuring himself with a knife while trying to attack his partner.

According to the 24 Hours slogan, the incident occurred inside a home located in Camino Liray Site No. 1, when the 37-year-old subject, after consuming alcoholic beverages, went to the bedroom where his 48-year-old partner was.

After attacking her in various parts of the body, the individual took out a knife between his clothes to injure the woman, but fell to the ground during the struggle, self-inflicting the stab in the chest that caused his death at the scene.

According to information from the Carabineros, the couple had a romantic relationship 10 years ago, presenting no criminal record or current causes. There were also no previous complaints of domestic violence.
