A woman was shot by criminals who assaulted her to steal a bag with about 40 million pesos that she carried to deposit in a bank branch, in the afternoon of this Tuesday in the center of the commune of Maipú.
According to preliminary information, I was being then by the thieves, who moved in two vehicles. When she, who was with her father, got out of the car in which they were traveling, they were intercepted and shot at by the subjects.
When the victim resisted, the attackers shot him to take the money.. One of the shots hit him in the leg, while another that was allegedly aimed at his face failed to hit him.
After that, the attackers fled in an unknown direction. The woman, meanwhile, was transferred to a care facility, where she remains out of life risk.

According to witnesses, the money the woman was carrying was received from the sale of a house.
