The Venezuelan deputy, Luis Florido, asked President Sebastián Piñera not to expel his compatriots within the framework of the deportation of 138 irregular migrants of the national territory as part of the “Plan Colchane”.

This Wednesday 86 Colombian and Venezuelan citizens were expelled through a flight from Iquique. Additionally, 52 foreigners were deported to Peru and Bolivia.

For this reason, Luis Florido – in a public act – asked the Chilean Government to “please” not expel the Venezuelans.

The congressman of the National Assembly assured that “the Venezuelans who went there on foot they are human beings who left to fight, to have a better future ”.

“Mr. President Piñera, we call you from here the deputies of the legitimate National Assembly: Do not expel the Venezuelans, it is not their fault, it’s the fault of the Maduro regimeIt is the fault of Nicolás Maduro ”, he added.

Finally, he ruled that “the international community together with us, has to do much more until we get out of this.”
