On Sunday night, a loud explosion was heard in several communes of the Metropolitan Region.

The roar alerted residents of San Joaquín, Ñuñoa, San Miguel, Central Station and Maipú, who reported through their social networks a loud noise that was heard around 11:20 p.m.

At first, The 10th Company of the Santiago Fire Department reported that teams from the South Metropolitan Corps were referred to the intersection of Carmen and Rivas streets, in San Joaquín, after reports of a alleged explosion in a paint factory, which minutes later were denied by firefighters and police personnel, who found that the place is normal.
