President Piñera began the payment of the Covid Family Emergency Income (IFE) and Covid Bonus to support the economy of families affected by the pandemic. The benefit will be granted to more than 1.9 million households and 5.2 million people.
The amount depends on the phase of the Step by Step Plan in which the commune was located between November 27 and December 31, 2020. According to this, the payment of IFE Covid Quarantine, IFE Covid Transition and Covid Preparation and Initial Opening Bonus has been arranged.
Regarding payment, transfers to Rut Account will be made today, January 29, while those corresponding to other types of accounts and banks will be made on Monday, February 1 and Wednesday, February 3. For those who withdraw the money in person, the process will be carried out in the branches of Banco Estado and Caja Compensation Los Héroes from February 1.
For the February contribution, applications will be between the 8th and 18th, and will be paid from the 28th.
