On Tuesday morning, the Third Chamber of the Temuco Court of Appeals revoked the definitive dismissal of former UDI deputy, Gustavo Hasbún, investigated by the Prosecutor’s Office in the framework of the bribery case in the MOP of La Araucanía.
With this, the Public Ministry achieved reverse the ruling in the first instance that had dismissed the current mayoral candidate for Central Station.
Hasbún is charged by the bribery and influence peddling crimes, after Radio Bío Bío revealed an audio more than a year ago, where he offered favors in exchange for large sums of money.
The above, in the framework of a conversation with businessman Bruno Fulgeri.
On the occasion, the defendant would have committed efforts to expedite the payment statements with the former undersecretary of the MOP and current Minister of Economy, Lucas Palacios.
A few days ago, Fulgeri, a former MOP contractor who denounced the alleged crimes, indicated that he hoped that the Court of Appeals of the regional capital of La Araucanía does not dismiss the case involving Hasbún.
“I am surprised that they are requesting the definitive dismissal in a cause that has not even been formalized “he declared at the time.
