For his part, from Argentina the Chief of Cabinet, Santiago Cafiero; the chancellor, Felipe Solá; the Minister of Defense, Agustín Rossi; the Minister of Health, Ginés González; the Argentine ambassador to Chile, Rafael Bielsa; and the first lady Fabiola Yañez.
The leaders of both nations will sign an agreement on reciprocal recognition and exchange of driving licenses, which will benefit private drivers from both nations, favoring the movement of citizens on roads and road networks in both countries.
President Fernández arrived in Chile around noon, after which he was escorted to the Palacio de La Moneda, where he met with President Sebastián Piñera and the welcoming ceremony began. In the instance, a meeting will be held between the two leaders where they will be accompanied by their foreign ministers, and then go on to a ceremony to sign agreements and joint declaration.
