The Metropolitan Trafficking and Trafficking Brigade of the Investigative Police (PDI) captured a Vietnamese citizen charged with human trafficking.
This is Thi Thu Nguyen, 34, who after entering Chile would have contacted his compatriots to offer attractive job proposals.
In this way, Vietnamese came to Chile on a tourist visa to access the offers. However, already in Chile the woman would have handed these people over to chinese merchants.

In total, there would be five people affected by the actions of the woman, 2 women and 3 men, who were rescued from commercial premises in Melipilla, Parral and Puerto Montt.
The defendant would also be linked to the case of Council, where a woman was forced to work for Chinese entrepreneurs in very poor conditions and then left on the streets.
Deputy Inspector Camila Maldonado, from the Metropolitan Trafficking and Human Trafficking Brigade, indicated that Thi Thu Nguyen had been involved in that case on issues of recruitment and transferred of the affected citizen in that case.
The PDI inquires whether the accused, who will be formalized and who is with his irregular immigration status, is involved in other similar cases.
