The measure includes the communes of Olmué, Limache, Villa Alemana and Quilpué. These last two, in phase 2, continue with their weekend quarantine.
The measure, explained the rear admiral, seeks to “facilitate the transit of emergency vehicles, firefighters vehicles, and also use the resources of the Armed Forces that I have under my command in the Marga Marga sector, in combat aid operations. of this fire ”.
According to what the specialists say, he added, “there are still several days to extinguish and control it.”
For this Saturday, Navajas continued, “the effort will be mainly to protect homes. Once they are secured, the Conaf and Firefighters will continue fighting the fire for its total extinction ”.
