This Sunday morning, Dr. Carlos Grant del Río, director of the Concepción Health Service, died of complications from covid-19.
From said establishment, they indicated that “At 11:15 am on Sunday, January 10, 2021, the death of Dr. Carlos Grant del Río was certified”.
In this sense, it was also specified that the news regarding the death of “our Acting Director it was communicated to the respective authorities with the approval of the family of our dear and remembered Director “.
The death of Grant del Río (64), occurs after remaining 36 days connected to an extracorporeal oxygenation membrane in the Intensive Care Unit from the Guillermo Grant Benavente Hospital in the regional capital of Bío Bío.
Carlos Grant del Río, was named the Oct 16, 2018 as Director of the Concepción Health Service, an establishment that he led until he was hospitalized due to complications caused by covid-19.
