A series of dialogues were held this Thursday between leaders of Chile Vamos and the Republican Party to try to reach an agreement on a unitary list of constituents.
The offer that was on the table was that José Antonio Kast’s community carry 13 candidates in 11 districts. However, signs began to emerge in recent hours that the deal’s success was at risk. And from Chile Vamos they said that the JA Kast community was requesting that the offer be increased to 20 candidates.
The main refusal, however, came from Evópoli, whose leaders stated that they would not accept raising the number. And they claimed that the Republican Party did not give a formal response, so if that situation continued, they warned that they would not put the agreement to a vote in their general council, which at the end of this edition was still ongoing, in parallel to that of RN. The president of Evópoli, Andrés Molina, told Third that “there should be no more candidates”, graphing the refusal to increase the quotas.
Finally, the talks continued and JA Kast’s party ended up accepting Chile’s offer Let’s bring 13 candidates, which made the agreement viable.

Kast himself also sent a letter to the helmsmen of Chile We are formalizing the acceptance, in which he states that “we value the disposition and will” of the bloc and the “efforts and disposition of the government for this agreement to be finalized.”
The 13 candidates – detailed in the letter – are Myrta dubost and Jorge Munoz (district 2); Antonio Barchiesi and Maria de los Angeles Lopez (district 6); Matías Poblete and Luis Alejandro Silva (district 13); Cristóbal Orrego (district 14); Sergio Correa (district 17); Juan Ariztía and Denisse Mewes (district 18); Pablo Errázuriz (district 24); Marisol Bañares (district 25); and Andrea Iñiguez “In a district to be defined in the Metropolitan Region.”
In any case, the RN and Evópoli councils continue and have not yet made a statement to officially ratify the agreement.
