Two years he was in the Goal hug at CDF, but this January 15 will mark a milestone in her career: the journalist Isidora ‘Tita’ Ureta will leave the Soccer Channel to dedicate himself completely to his production company Mantarraya, with which he recorded Rivers of the world, an independent production that is broadcast by Chilevisión. “What I want most is to go as far as possible,” he said.

In the docuseries, the communicator travels through various tributaries of the globe while sharing with the cultures that surround her. Thus, it reached the Nile in Africa, the Mekong in Southeast Asia and the Ganges in India.

Now, he is waiting to start recording a new program of which not many details are known. He advanced that it is related to travel, water and culture.

“I wanted to have a life more in contact with nature,” acknowledged the woman in conversation with Las Últimas Noticias. He added that although on television he managed to learn, he began “to get into a world of routine (…) I think they are cycles.”

For this 2021, and just one day after officially saying goodbye to the sports channel, he hopes to start a two-month trip through Chile with a first envy stop: Los Leones Glacier, located near Puerto Río Tranquilo.

“I realized that it is not good for me to always be in my comfort zone,” he said. It still does not have a channel for transmission and stated that this implies a much lower remuneration. It does everything with the aim of “starting my SME, creating a team, starting from scratch”.

It was she who decided not to renew the contract with her television station because, she argued, “we did Goal hug from home for many months and there I was on a super dark side. I saw myself in my worst version without being in contact with nature ”.

The journalist closed by clarifying that she does not rule out “returning to daily television in the future. But the pandemic moved me so much that I had to make decisions ”.

On Instagram, Ureta shared that the “countdown” to leave the channel has already begun. “Today more than ever it is difficult to go out and record, but I believe in raising tourism with the appropriate measures and an enormous responsibility to show the world the wonders of our country,” he concluded.

The chapters issued from Rivers of the World are available in Chilevisión.
