During the morning of this Monday, the entertainment world declared itself in mourning, since EFE Agency had reported the death of Tanya Roberts, an American actress mainly remembered for her role as “Bond girl” in the film A sight to kill (1985).
Mike Pingel, representative of the artist had said that she stayed hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in California, United States, since he passed out on the street on December 24 while walking his dogs. It had also been ruled out that the coronavirus was the cause of death.
However, the news took an unexpected turn when international media came out to deny the information.
According to TMZ, after the representative announced the death, he would have received a call from the health center where Roberts was to clarify that she was alive.
The portal reported that Roberts’s family and friends were notified of the incident by Lance O’Brien, the actress’s husband. Although, he later said that “as I held her during her last moments, she opened her eyes.
For its part, Variety published that the interpreter is in poor condition, according to what the representative explained.
Roberts, whose original name was Victoria Leigh Blum, was born in New York in 1955. The artist tried her hand as a model and also in publicity before finding a place as an actress.
The small screen was her first home, since, after several small roles in series and television movies, she was selected as one of the three protagonists of the fifth and final season of Charlie’s Angels (1976-1981).
