The North Central Prosecutor’s Office requested 34 years in prison for Humberto Baeza Fernández (78), better known as Tito Fernández or El Temucano.
This for the crimes of rape and sexual abuse, cases reported by three women and former disciples of the musician at the Comprehensive Center for Metaphysical Studies (CIEM) that he led.
According to what was reported by Radio Bío Bío, the Public Ministry requested a 12-year sentence for the first case; 10 years and 1 day for the second; and 12 years for the third.
Meanwhile, the Prosecutor’s Office indicated to Publimetro that the defendant’s defense requested the definitive dismissal of this case, a situation that must finally be resolved by the Santiago Court of Appeals.
The Temucano was formalized on July 29, when the 7th Guarantee Court of Santiago decreed his preventive detention. However, on August 6, the Fourth Chamber of the Santiago Appeals Court revoked the precautionary measure for the singer-songwriter.
