The mayor of Recoleta, Daniel Jadue, talked to the National State about different topics regarding his chances of being elected President in the next elections, the political project of the Communist Party, the lists of candidates for the Constitutional Convention and the latest complaint made by a NGO that classified him as “anti-Semitic”.

Regarding the results in the surveys, the communal chief attributes it to the work carried out in his commune with different “popular” initiatives such as pharmacies, opticians, real estate, among others, which in his opinion are efforts that put the human being at the center, which, in his opinion, is the distinctive feature of communist mayors, recalling the invitation of the mayor of Diego de Almagro, Isaías Zavala to inaugurate a swimming pool in Inca de Oro, “a small town with 50 children in the middle of the desert”, he pointed out, adding that “only a communist mayor would have built a swimming pool in the middle of the desert to give dignity to those children (…) that is the Chile we dream of.”

Before consulting the statements of his party that he maintains as a “fundamental goal on the horizon is the construction of a socialist society,” Jadue indicated that “it is a medium and long-term program. Today we are in a thesis in which more than talking about a project, we are talking about a one-way path where you have to move “.
