As every year, the Permanent Family Contribution, formerly known as the March Bonus, will be delivered. This benefit will be even more vital considering that the country is on the verge of a new wave of Covid-19, although some communes will return to Phase 3.
It is worth mentioning that this benefit is paid once a year to those families that, as of December 31 of the previous year, are beneficiaries of the Family Subsidy, Chile Solidario, the Subsystem of Securities and Opportunities (Family Attic Income), Family Allowance or Maternal Allowance .
Who and when receive the former March Bonus?
This contribution reaches three specific groups:
- Group 1: People who the second half of each month receive benefits from the Family Subsidy, Chile Solidario or from the Subsystem of Securities and Opportunities (Ingreso tico Familiar), through the IPS.
- Group 2: People who receive benefits from Subsidio Familiar, Chile Solidario or the Subsystem of Segurities and Opportunities, through the IPS for the first half of each month. Pensioners who receive allowances for family responsibilities by this last agency will also be authorized to pay at this stage.
- Group 3: Workers, and pensioners of entities other than IPS that charge Family or Maternal Allowance for their family responsibilities.
