According to the latest regional health balance, 76 new cases of Covid and 2 deceased people were registered, residing in the commune of Ovalle and another Coquimbo.
The total accumulated cases increased to 14,308, 243 active cases in the communes of the Coquimbo region and 299 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
Of the new cases, 15 with residence in the commune of La Serena, 16 from Coquimbo, 6 from Los Vilos, 20 from Ovalle, 9 from Monte Patria, 5 from Punitaqui, 2 from Vicuña, 1 from Paihuano, 1 from another region and 1 without notification in the Epivigila system.
Regarding the situation of the Assistance Network, 358 beds are available, out of a total provision of 1,175, which represents 66% of general occupancy, and there are 41 hospitalized people, of which 7 are on mechanical ventilation
