At least 15 thousand cars have been returned from Valparaíso to Greater Santiago before the sanitary cordon imposed since yesterday, in the Metropolitan region.

During this New Year, the authorities foresee a flow of 169 thousand vehicles of mobilization to and from the capital.

The sanitary control points will extend until the early morning of Saturday, January 2, due to the end of the year holidays and phase 2 of the Step by Step plan.

Santiago to the coast
