Presumed target of shots in Plaza Maipú shooting remains in preventive prison

This Wednesday was formalized Patricio Lemus Duarte, a 19-year-old youth identified by the OS-9 of the Carabineros as the alleged “target” or “target” of the shooting that occurred on December 22, in Plaza Maipú. Fact that at that time left a 59-year-old woman dead and six other people injured.

However, the hearing of this day was developed for another reason, since the December 4th, Lemus with a group of individuals, they would have fired a large number of shots at a building, also from the commune of Maipú.

This situation resulted in a deceased woman and a man with serious injuries. The latter managed to repel the attack and wounded one of the aggressors who is currently at risk of life in the Central Station.

The investigation carried out by specialized Carabineros personnel made it possible to identify the other two assailants who fired at the house, Lemus being one of the main involved. Once the police personnel locate him, he is placed in preventive detention.

Lemus records previous arrests for attempted robbery, robbery with violence, robbery by surprise, theft of vehicle accessories, reception, attack against authority and theft.
