The act, which also featured the participation of Lorena Zamora, the girl’s mother, was held on the outskirts of the building where her body was found and where her ex-boyfriend resided, located on Avenida San Pablo in the commune of Santiago.

Meanwhile, the main suspect in the femicide of the young obstetrics student at the Diego Portales University, remains a fugitive while the PDI and Interpol continue with the intense search for his whereabouts.

The young man of Mexican nationality and who entered the country illegally, had a six-year relationship with the victim.

In recent days, the alleged femicide was also recognized in the city of Aguascalientes, Mexico, where he was identified as Carlos Humberto Méndez González and where he is accused of the murder of Itzel Barraza in 2009.

A few days ago, María Isabel’s older sister, Brenda Pavez, confessed that Igor González is also wanted by Interpol.
