Through a statement, it was reported that this show will be carbon neutral and will start at 0:00 on January 1, 2021, to finish at 4:00 in the morning.
The show will feature seven rays of lights of colors red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet, that will cross the night sky. These will be visible in a radius of 40 kilometers, that is, they will be visible to all the inhabitants of Santiago who have a clear view in their place of residence.
Alexis Licci, Entel’s marketing manager, indicated that the show arises because “we wanted to carry out an intervention that can be enjoyed without leaving the house, that is why we invite you to look up at the sky and enjoy it.”
For his part, the mayor of Santiago, Felipe Alessandri, pointed out that “we are very happy, because after a very difficult year, we can give our neighbors a joyful closing. This year Entel will hold an environmentally friendly light show, which they will be able to enjoy for 4 hours in the comfort and safety of their homes ”.
The show will continue to run until January 4 (the other days at 9:00 p.m. and also for 4 hours), and then move to other areas of the country:
– Arica (January 7 and 8)
– La Serena (January 11 to 13)
– Concepción (January 16 to 18)
– Punta Arenas (January 22 and 23)
