The mayor of La Florida, Rodolfo Carter, classified the consumption of base pasta as, “What is really killing people”.

This morning Mayor Carter made the statement during the delivery of 20 armored patrols to Carabineros to reinforce police work in the commune, regarding the increase in door knocks and lock-ups.

Carter assured that the security reinforcement was carried out, with “pride and hope to return the street to the citizens.”

Regarding the measures taken to combat organized crime, Carter settled, “Are we going to wait for a president or senator to die so that we can do something about an attack?”.

“Marijuana whistles don’t kill anyone, whistles fly. What is really killing people is this (the base paste) “, raised the mayor of Florida, showing an alleged bag with drugs.

In this context, he also commented on the situation of minors, “we mayors see throughout Chile how they steal our children from us. Children who should be in a square, turned into soldiers with firearms ”.

Finally, he stated that the launching of fireworks is not an accident, and that “They are not financed by marijuana, but by base paste”.

Carter added that the bag he was carrying actually contained bicarbonate, to the reassurance of the General Director of the Carabineros, Ricardo Yáñez, who was there.
