A boy who was turning two years old drowned after falling into the pool of his house in the sector 21 de Mayo in the commune of San Felipe on Monday afternoon.

The incident, registered in Aguirre street, was notified to the Investigative Police and its Homicide Squad, who are in charge of the case.

The minor was found by his mother in the pool of the house. This was detailed by the prosecutor on duty from San Felipe, Andrés Gallardo.

“The mother of the minor, with initials MDED, finds him face down floating inside a pool on his birthday. SAMU staff attended the place who tried to revive him for about an hour, not being possible, “he said.


At the time of the incident, the minor was with his family in the house and at about 6:00 p.m. was his death.

However, the death of the minor is still under investigation by the Homicide Squad of the Investigative Police.
