The dollar has seen a sharp decline in recent weeks, a holding that has forced experts to adjust their calculations.
And this is reflected in the Survey of Financial Operators of the Central Bank, whose results suggest that the average of the projections indicates that the dollar will average $ 715 in a seven-day projection and $ 720 in 28 days onwards.
In the survey prior to the monetary policy meeting, the experts’ estimates for a horizon of 7 and 28 days averaged $ 760. This is then a significant correction in expectations.
At the opening of the local interbank market this morning, the exchange rate reached $ 711.88, which represents a decrease of 0.40% in relation to Thursday and a level prior to October 18, 2019, in the start of the social outbreak.
Regarding prices, operators expect that the CPI will experience a variation of 0.2% in December and 0.3% in January 2021.
Regarding the interest rate, it is expected to be frozen at the technical minimum of 0.5% for at least 12 more months.
