The Cadem company conducted a survey on the presidential race in the center-right, where it maintains that the former president of Banco Estado, Sebastián Sichel, and the mayor of Providencia, Evelyn Matthei, would be the best candidates for Chile Vamos.
According to Cadem, Sichel would win in 5 of 6 possible primary scenarios for Chile Vamos, with Matthei winning in only the one in which these two would compete, with Joaquín Lavín, Mario Desbordes and Felipe Kast.
Further, Sichel is the center-right candidate with the best public image among the total public opinion (70%), and also among those who would participate in a presidential primary in Chile Vamos (93%)says Cadem.
Further behind are Joaquín Lavín (59% and 84% respectively), Evelyn Matthei (56% and 93%), and Mario Desbordes (48% and 72%). With less than 40% of positive image are Felipe Kast (37% and 67% among participants from a primary school in Chile Vamos), Francisco Chahuán (34% and 58%), and José Antonio Kast (25% and 59%).
Along the same lines, the former Minister of Social Development is the one that generates the most adherence among citizens (59% indicate that they would definitely vote for him or that they could eventually vote for him), and the second among the participants of a primary in Chile Vamos ( 81%), after Matthei, which generates adhesion between 47% of the general public opinion and 86% of the voters of Chile Vamos. Lavín follows closely, with 47% and 69% respectively.
