They decree preventive detention of detainee for the so-called “Robo del Siglo”

This Sunday the Third Guarantee Court of Santiago decreed the precautionary measure of preventive detention against Luis Mosquera, accused of being one of the authors of the so-called “Robbery of the Century.”

The 48-year-old man was arrested on Saturday, after being subjected to a health check in the center of Santiago, specifically at the intersection of Alameda with Paseo Ahumada.

The subject did not have his temporary permission, so when consulting his background, it was alerted that he had a pending arrest warrant for the crime of robbery with violence.

After this, he was transferred to the 3rd Police Station of Santiago, where it was confirmed that he was one of the people who participated in the millionaire robbery that affected the Esertval securities company, in September 2017, for a loot close to 16 thousand millions of pesos.

It should be noted that the individual has a criminal record for crimes such as robbery in an uninhabited place, reception and robbery with violence.
